- Services Information System (SIS) tracks service calls from the time the call
- is received in dispatching through automatic billing for the service(s)
- rendered. Upon receiving a service call, the dispatcher has the latest credit
- information, service history, warranty information, customer priority status,
- and other information enabling him to render the best decision on how to
- respond to the call and what resources (e.g., manpower, parts) are available.
- Once the call is complete and the resources used are entered, the service
- history, accounts receivable, inventory, and other applicable areas are
- automatically updated. SIS can also interface into the VMS Distributor
- Information System (DIS) and Contractor Information System (CIS) series of
- applications.
